Welcome to Our New Head Team Coach

The Gymnastics Zone is very proud to announce that Bogi Michovsky has joined our staff as the new Head Coach for the Competitive Team Program.

He has attended the National Academy of Sport, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Physical Ed and Sport. Bogi made his coaching debut as Head Coach in club CSKA-Sofia from 1993-1997 where he earned the title of National Aerobic Head Coach.

This led him to participate in four World Aerobic Championships where the Bulgarian Team received 1st place in 1997 in Perth, Aus. He moved to the US in 1998, Bogi began coaching at "Above & Beyond", in Napa as Heads Boys Coach and most recently as an Optional Level coach at Redwood Empire Gymnastics in Petaluma. 1. Bogi helped me a lot and I definetly know I have improved tremendously because of him!! Now I have moved onto xcel . Only because I couldn't trust my self doing a flyaway! Of course I will miss working out with my old teammates and coach Bogi too. I now know that because Bogi came to our gym it will change it so much because of his exprerince and his love for this amazing sport ( and wonderful attitude towards it too ;-) ) . Thank u Bogi ! Gymnast, Ali O'Day ;-)
