Gymnastics Zone Boys Team wins in Oroville



The Gymnastics Zone Boys Junior Olympic Team led by head coach Mike Terhorst are seeing the results of all of their hard work paying off.  The level 4 and 5 teams competed last weekend at the Oroville Invitational hosted by and held at Oroville Gymnastics.

The results are as follows:



Level 4 Team
Younger age Division
Ethan Exum – fifth on floor, sixth on pommel, third on rings, first on vault, first on parallel bars, first on high bar and first all-around with a score of 58.800.
Orion Seal – seventh on floor, third on pommel, eighth on rings, sixth on vault, second on parallel bars, ninth on high bar and fifth all-around with a score of 55.200.
Leonardo Deeik – third on floor, fourth on pommel, ninth on rings, sixth on parallel bars, seventh on high bar and fifth all-around with a score of 55.200.
Gabriel Deeik – sixth on pommel, sixth on rings, eighth on parallel bars, third on high bar and eighth all-around with a score of 54.400.

Middle age Division

Thomas Malloy – ninth on floor, fifth on pommel, ninth on rings, third on parallel bars, second on high bar and fourth all-around with a score of 56.600.
Mario Delanni – fourth on floor, ninth on rings, third on vault, fifth on parallel bars, fourth on high bar and sixth all-around with a score of 56.300.
Riley Grinnell – seventh on floor, third on pommel, fourth on parallel bars, eighth all-around with a score of 55.900.

Older age Division
Matthew Payne – ninth on floor, eighth on pommel, eighth on rings, ninth on vault and ninth all-around with a score of 53.800.
Logan Nations – twelfth all-around with a score of 49.500.

The Level 4 Team placed third with a score of 175.700.


Level 5 Team
Middle age Division
Petar Zivkovic – second on floor, first on pommel, second on rings, seventh on vault, third on parallel bars, seventh on high-bar and third all-around with a score of 62.500.
Lukas Rieken – fourth on floor, sixth on rings, seventh on parallel bars, second on high bar and sixth all-around with a score of 59.000.
Liam Wallace Harper – seventh on floor, eighth on pommel, ninth on rings, fourth on vault, seventh on parallel bars, third on high bar and seventh all-around with a score of 58.800.
Eamonn Weinstock – seventh on vault and twelfth all-around with a score of 54.600.

Older age Division
Noah Pack – second on floor, first on pommel, fifth on rings, fourth on vault, fourth on parallel bar, first on high bar and second all-around with a score of 62.500.
Emilio Delanni – ninth on rings, fourth on vault, eighth on parallel bars, sixth on high bar and twelfth all-around with a score of 54.100.

The level 5 team placed second with a score of 185.400.

The boy’s team will compete next on February 19 – 21 at the Gold Country Classic hosted by Accel Gymnastics and held at the Oakland Marriott.

Gymnastics Zone Level 8, 9 and 10 Teams compete in Phoenix



The Level 8, 9 and 10 Junior Olympic Optional Teams from the Gymnastics Zone competed on February 6th at the Classic Rock Invitational hosted by Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics and held at the Phoenix Convention center in Phoenix, AZ.

The results are as follows:

Level 8 Team
Junior B age division
Rosie Urquhart – fourth on vault, second on bars, third on beam, third on floor and first all-around with a score of 37.275.


Level 9 Team
Child age division
Katy Cordeiro – sixth on vault, second on bars, sixth on beam, seventh on floor and sixth all-around with a score of 34.325.

Junior age division
Blake Gozashti – fifth on vault, seventh on bars, eighth on beam, fourth on floor and seventh all-around with a score of 35.500.

Senior age division

Olivia Stewart – third on vault, (scratch bars), fourth on beam, third on floor and fifth all-around with a score of 26.650.
Ariana Robertson – fourth on vault, (scratch bars & beam), sixth on floor and seventh all-around with a score of 18.175.
The Level 9 team was awarded the third place trophy with a score of 98.125.
 
Level 10 Team
Child age division
Thea Michovsky – ninth on vault, ninth on bars, ninth on beam, eighth on floor and eighth all-around with a score of 33.500.

Junior age division
Maya Uemura – ninth on vault, ninth on bars, tenth on beam and eighth all-around with a score of 33.700.

All Optional Team levels will compete next on February 20 – 21 at the Gymnastics Legends Invitational hosted by All Olympia Gymnastics Center and held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Gymnastics Zone Xcel Teams compete in Roseville



The Xcel competitive teams from the Gymnastics Zone competed last weekend at the Roseville Invitational held at the Mahany Sports Complex in Roseville hosted by Byers Gymnastics.

The results are as follows:





Xcel Bronze Team

Younger age division
Isabelle Grace – sixth on beam and eighth all-around with a score of 35.675.
Tate Renaudin – fifth on vault, sixth on bars, ninth on floor and eleventh all-around with a score of 35.175.

Middle age division
Chloe Barrett – third on vault, sixth on bars, first on beam, fifth on floor and second all-around with a score of 37.050.
Beverly Bolen – second on vault, second on beam, seventh on floor and fourth all-around with a score of 36.575.
Alexia Oltramare – sixth on bars, sixth on beam, sixth on floor and sixth all-around with a score of 36.475.

Older age division
Hannah Jonas – third on vault, fourth on bars, first on beam, fourth on floor and first all-around with a score of 37.600.
Natalie Wetzel – eighth on vault, fourth on bars, first on beam, fifth on floor and sixth all-around with a score of 37.075.

Ali O’Day – first on vault, second on bars, fourth on beam, first on floor and second all-around with a score of 33.550.


The Xcel Bronze and Silver Teams will compete again on February 5th at the Awesome 80’s Invitational hosted by and held at Rohnert Park Gymnastics.

Gymnastics Zone optional teams compete in Roseville Invitational



The Level 6, 7 and 8 Junior Olympic Optional Teams from the Gymnastics Zone took to the floor at the Roseville Invitational this weekend held at the Mahany Sports Complex in Roseville, hosted by Byers Roseville Gymnastics.
